On Christmas morning, WBDC, the Washington market's WB affiliate, will air two hours of commercial-free log burning in a fireplace.

Also tributes to late ABC News Chairman Roone Arledge included Barbara Walters who said that when she last spoke to Arledge on Thanksgiving weekend, he, having had little to do but watch TV, "finally had decided there were just too many commercials."
