A number of years ago I was reading about goal setting. One of the things it asked was to pick something that you would really like to do that would be somewhat difficult but possible and that you would love doing.

I realized I would love to walk the Appalachian Trial. Difficult but possible. Doesn't require much but time. Here is an amusing and informative story of someone who did.

One of my all-time favorite books. It takes a lot to make me laugh out loud, but I can read this one over and over and laugh every time.

It's educational, too. I'd say that Bill Bryson missed his calling by not being a teacher, but I guess he's actually reaching more people this way.
