Best Blogs 2006

I went over in looked around and cast my votes in the Sixth Annual Weblog Awards.

The categories where there are too many good entries are best political, best computers or technology, best topical, and best writing on a weblog. I had known about none of the best writing blogs before.

Serendipity, clicking on some of the people donating prizes I found this great essay - Being poor. That is from SF writer John Scalzi's blog which is amazing. I think John was extremely smart by donating some of his books as prizes for the bloggie awards - he is getting the right kind of publicity directed at the right people. I know I bookmarked his site and placed his books on my Amazon wish list.
