Houston Eating

New great but high-priced Brazilian restaurant, Jim liked it, as a top Houston restaurant closes.

Pasadena has Mitchello's Italian hole-in-the wall re-opening - very basic lasagna and pasta dishes, Italian-American home cooking.

My tri-city area - Pasadena/Deer Park/La Porte, has a new Grand Buffet Chinese with a pick your stir-fry with a BBQ neon sign and the standard inexpensive sushi. Reviews for the other one, this new one is on Spencer across from San Jacinto Junior College Central. Fresh food and a big selection on standard buffet items, $5.99 weekday lunch, $7.99 dinner. Tip a dollar for the stir fry.
