RJ Reynolds is testing American versions of the popular Swedish Snus smokeless tobacco products. Unlike the current American smokeless tobaco products on the market Snus is formulated to greatly reduce the need to spit.

I heard about the Swedish and Norwegian popular snus products early this year but Austin is now a test market for Camal Snus and another similar product.

I don't smoke, and object to second-hand smoke, but am aware from my brother-in-law and others what a nasty product causing constant spitting American smokeless tobacco now is.
