More Bass, Less Space

A new radical design for bass woofers and subwoofers puts more bass in smaller cylindrical spaces. Coming soon to car stereos, portable systems and TV's. Instead of a large cone diaphragm pushing air straight ahead, the new design has a series of smaller diaphragms in a tube with drivers at each end and the sound comes out the sides. The drivers link to every other diaphragm in the tube. The opposing drivers also cancel out vibration that, along with size, has kept subwoofers out of electronic devices.
