Mark Twain - 1601

This is Mark Twain's short fart story issued as a pamphlet. It was published at West Point and RAH performed it while attending Annapolis. It is a Rabelaisian historical tale of a gathering at the fireside of Queen Elizabeth and the conversation that ensues after one of the historical figures present lets lose a champion fart. Of this public domain 16-page annotated version the actual tale is only from pages 9 to 12.
