Bad Cheap Wine - BCW
Shadow Ridge Merlot 2001 on sale at FoodTown for less than $4 a 1.5 liter bottle is terrible - thin cheap swill. Couldn't even tell it was supposed to be Merlot. I added Sprite to make it a barely drinkable wine cooler.
If what you want for the holidays is GCW what you don't want is BCW.
