The Lookout - Rotten Tomatoes

This movie was surprisingly good. Excellent acting, casting and screenplay. Jeff Daniels has his best role. Thumbs up. Salon agrees and has an interview - "Life's not simple" with the lead, Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The New York Times points out that his portrayal recalls that of Timothy Bottoms in The Last Picture Show, another great movie.

My brother recommended Brick on DVD with the same lead actor.
