Excellent romantic film that should not work but it does. Seems to be developed as a play. Keri Russell deserves an Oscar nomination. A good role for Nathan Fillion of Serenity and Firefly fame. Now out on DVD. I am seeing more movies through Redbox, a dollar a day rentals outside most McDonald's and some grocery stores. Adrienne Shelly had a gift for writing comedy.
It is a bittersweet experience watching the uniquely adorable "Waitress" because indie actress Adrienne Shelly, murdered in New York City this past November, has come into her own as a filmmaker with this, her third film.
4.5 out of 5 sensuous pies.
