You Knew Coffee Addiction would come to This

Cold drip coffee.

This could make you really "knurd." That is the state of anti-drunk when the normal fog of imprecise thinking and hobbled perception is removed by the blowtorch of really, really strong fantasy Turkish coffee, revealing the blistering and debilitating clarity of reality. A man who is knurd needs several shots of strong alcohol to return to normal functioning. This is from the fantasy Discworld of Terry Pratchett.

The cold brew further experiments: Batch 3 was by far the most potent. By my calculations, I produced the equivalent of 145 cups of conventional coffee worth of caffiene in 5.7 cups of volume. I am terrified by the idea of passing Batch 3 through this entire process two more times to achieve the coffee chronovore had.

One of the subjects of the coffee experiment.

Black Blood of Earth addendum.

More on the how do I make that. Another simple recipe for cold-brewed iced coffee. Using a Filtron. This is part of N'awlins Culture.

I suppose you need to know where to get the equipment for the simple methods. The Toddy produces a naturally low acid, bold yet smooth coffee concentrate that may be refrigerated for up to 14 days without any deterioration in taste or freshness.

Even simpler recipe. Iced cold brew machine - sweet.
