Alison Cook says Alexander is a Great Experience.

Goat is about the only food I dislike but the foodinHouston blog might convince me to try it here. He has a list of the best restaurants in Houston now.

He highly recommends laidback manor, "throws a grenade on the plate" - the most interesting restaurant in Houston.

The Voyage dining experience - $70, 5 course spontaneous theatre menu…$45 1st course - trumpet royal mushroom consommé flavored with green cardamom, foamed black truffle ~ asparagus ~ dried egg yolk $10 2nd course - berkshire pork “rib” braised in Dr Pepper,
smoked potato salad ~ espresso glaze ~ pickled cucumber $25
