John at SF Signal pointed me to the 2007 SF cover art collection at Locus and I noticed a new Steve White novel. Steve White had my vote as worst nearly opening paragraph for a SF novel in Prince of Sunset - a real life Bulwer-Lytton Fiction Contest winner. Nearly opening, it was the second chapter. It was not a very good book.
Steve White's new novel Exodus is the latest in the StarFire series, based on the game.
