Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield training to fly Russia's Soyuz spacecraft

The first Canadian astronaut to walk in space may soon become the first to fly up to the International Space Station behind the controls of a Russian Soyuz spacecraft.

James Newman, the current NASA representative in Moscow, warned Tuesday that Washington cannot give any funds to Russia's space program due to sanctions imposed by the U.S. Congress over Moscow's alleged missile co-operation with Iran.
