Microsoft patch can cause IE trouble
I had been noticing more frequent crashes on Internet Explorer recently and had even done a registry cleaner to try to fix it. It isn't clear to me this is the problem but could be.
I had gone back to mostly Internet Explorer because I like the way my favorite sites are arranged there. IE normally just displays the most recently visited favorites. FireFox grabbed all my favorites and displays them all - which is a problem when you had hundreds. Of course, a better solution would be for me to prune my favorites or bookmarks down or something.
